District 328 Judge Monica Rawlins (IN) up for re-election 2026.Judge Rawlings is the owner/founder of Law Office of Monica Rawlins, P.C., which is a family law firm. I have practiced law for a little over 20 years. My practice includes but is not limited to divorce, adoption, custody, child support, name changes and all aspects of family law. My practice incudes people from all walks of life - wealthy to modest means and diverse cultures/backgrounds. I am seeking to be elected as the 328th District Court Judge in Fort Bend County, Texas. For over 25 years I have been involved in community service and volunteering -- feeding the homeless, visiting nursing homes, volunteering at food banks, and much more. Community involvement is very important to me. Throughout my career, I have taken on many cases pro bono and conducted legal seminars for the public.

Meeting people where they are is very important to me, and I believe this approach promotes fairness and eliminates unfair biases. I have an understanding that no two cases are exactly the same and should not be treated as such. With my experience, community involvement, compassion for people and willingness to work with others to reach a common goal, I believe I would be a great asset to the 328th District court. Applying the law, making sound decisions when discretion is required, treating each person that enters the courtroom with respect and making myself accessible to all will make this court successful.

District 400 Judge Tameika Carter (IN) up for re-election 2024. Bachelor's Johnson C. Smith University

Law Thurgood Marshall School of Law, 2004As the presiding Judge of the 400 th District Court I have worked
diligently to reduce case-backlog by running efficient dockets and presiding over numerous Criminal and Civil jury trials. In addition to my regular court duties I currently serve as the Local Administrative District Judge (LADJ) where I handle issues related to courthouse management. I am also member of the Fort Bend Bail Bond Board and serve as Chair of theCourthouse Security Council. Prior to my term as Local Administrative District Judge, I served as “Jury Judge” where I worked to ensure that our Courts in Fort Bend County could safely
conduct Jury Trials as we navigated our way through the COVID-19 pandemic. I have participated in many community outreach programs and as a result in May of 2023 I was honored to receive the Houston Lawyer’s Association Weldon Berry Judicial Service Award. When litigants step into my courtroom they can expect efficiency and to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or social-economic status. This continues to be my priority. I am asking for your support as I seek to be re-elected Judge of the 400 th District Court, Fort Bend County, TX.
