Welcome to the Official Face to Face Project of Candidate Videos for Voter Education!
About
The Official Face to Face Project of Candidate Videos for Voter Education is a 501c3 NonProfit that can accept tax deductible donations.

There is a Wix website and a YouTube Channel. The project is a tool to get to know the Democratic Candidates on your ballot. It is set up to be free to the public and to candidates. Be sure to subscribe to both and Donate through ActBlue to keep this project going.
Purpose: is to educate the voter by giving them a one stop shop to all their candidates on their ballot. Voters can view the videos at their leisure before they go vote, write down who they want to vote for on their sample ballots or a piece of paper and bring it into the polls. Or just put the selections on their Mail In Ballots. It is allowed.
The Wix website: has written information on each office with the job requirements and salary. Candidate’s photos, Bios, office sought on/work backgrounds, their media links, and donation links.
The YouTube Channel: has Videos information on the Candidates telling who they are, what office they seek, their education and work backgrounds, their platform, and why they want to be a public servant. I do put on forums in order to film candidates and attend other club’s forums as well. The videos can be viewed individually or in groups, by each candidate or in a ballot order playlist per county. They are free to download and share.
Accessibility: The website will automatically convert to the language the viewer has set up on their computer. Our goal is to include close captioning for hearing impaired on the videos.
Achievements: We have reached our goal of going statewide! All 254 Counties Democratic Candidates up and running! Contacted County Elections to post Election Code required documents on their websites, Improved county websites statewide to included election information. Both still a work in progress. High School and College Professors are including the project in their Civics curriculum. Set up 60 Facebook Pages for those counties that do not have County Chairs with basic voter information. Worked with TDCCA.org the Texas Democratic County Chairs Association to help train new chairs how to create a Facebook group. Website is in the language the voter's computer is set to.
Goals: To develop an app. To reach rural counties. To educate the public on who is on their ballot and give them the tools they need to make a wise decision on who to vote for. And always above all increase Democratic Voter turn out statewide. To level the playing field to include Diversity by promoting middle class candidates including women, veterans, LGBTQ Communities, people of color, college age adults, and anyone else who is marginalized when it comes to having access to running for office. To support well qualified educated Candidates for office. To have County Democratic Offices all get a photo and background information on each candidate using the same template. To have each post on their websites the photo and information about the Candidates. To make uniform reporting of Counties to Elections Offices using the same templates. To keep County Election Offices in check to make sure they are following Election Code on posting reports about elections in a timely manner. To fill every Precinct Chair Position and every County Chair Position. To provide the Secretary of State's list of Open Candidate positions as soon as it is available to the County Chairs to fill. To train County Chairs how to be a HR person and recruit qualified Candidates.
Texas County Pages
Candidates
All Counties are in Alphabetical order. To find your county click on the toolbar where it says Texas Counties A-Z. It is a pull down tab. Find the first letter of your county and click on it. That page should come up. Find your county. Click on the Ballot button below the county block and that will take you to your sample ballot. Click on the link bar to explore their information, videos and donations. Mark on your ballot which candidates you like the best. Take it to the polls with you and transfer your list to the ballot. That is it. Very easy. City Council, School Board, and other City Offices will be added as we get in that information.
This site is ready for a full state launch. However it will always be a work in progress adding new information as it becomes available.
